    Overpriced and poor quality to boot. Very poor toasted ham and cheese sandwich. After the tasteless excuse for a sandwhich I thought they couldn't muck up an ice cream but found the chocolate flake a cheap imitation of the genuine article. This place may have a good few visitors due to its enviable location but it sure as heck is a poor watering hole. Nearly £14 for a toasted sandwich, 2 teas and 2 ice creams. Cannot recommend.

    Visit this cafe every time we go to grange on our hikes. Staff always friendly and polite. Food is quick and to a good standard and its great location for when walking around derwentwater...
